Warrington Wolves v Salford Red Devils

Marc Sneyd scoops up maximum Man of Steel points once again in Round 14, producing another Player of the Match performance in Salford’s win over Warrington. He is joined by team-mates Nene Macdonald and Ollie Partington – who collect two points and one point respectively.

Castleford Tigers v Wigan Warriors

It was a close contest at the Mend-A-Hose Jungle on Friday night. Wigan’s two-try hero Liam Marshall bags himself three points, while Castleford’s Tex Hoy is awarded two points for the Tigers’ only try scored in this game.

Bevan French also claims one point for his trademark attacking threat - 223 metres made for the Warriors.

Hull KR v Huddersfield Giants

The Robins continued their fine winning streak at home, which now stretches to six matches. Record-breaker Ryan Hall earns three points in Round 14 – the 36-year-old equalled and broke the all-time Super League try-scoring record on Friday!

It’s two points for Peta Hiku who scored a brilliant brace, and a point for half-back Tyrone May who contributed one try and one try assist.

Hull FC v Leeds Rhinos

Hull FC finally ended their losing run with a win against Leeds Rhinos, and it’s a clean sweep for the Black & Whites in Round 14’s Man of Steel.

Herman Ese’ese had arguably one of his best games of the season – emerging as one of his side’s top tacklers. He also made five tackles busts and ran for 139 metres. He therefore collects the three points.

Carlos Tumiavave then takes two points and young talent Denive Balmforth earns one point.

Highlights: Hull FC grab their second win of the season.

Catalans Dragons v Leigh Leopards

Tom Amone led the charge for Leigh during their impressive win in the South of France. The front rower scored the only try of the game and took home three Man of Steel points. Lachlan Lam was instrumental to the Leopards' success on Saturday, picking up two points, with Gareth O'Brien receiving the final Man of Steel point on his return to action.

Highlights: Leigh keep Catalans scoreless for a second time in 2024.

London Broncos v St Helens

St Helens stormed to victory against London Broncos in Round 14. Moses Mbye was one of the many stars of the show with a try and two try assists at Twickenham Stoop. Likewise, Daryl Clark ensured the Saints got off to a strong start in the second half, with a superb seven-minute hat-trick.

James Bell also had an all-round impressive performance. He managed to create two tries with his two assists, became one of Saints’ top tacklers, and made seven tackle busts and 106 metres in 18 carries.

They are all deservedly awarded Man of Steel points.
